Candidates must achieve a 3-course curriculum focusing on fundamental prospecting, selling, and practice management skills. 

ChFC®, Charted Financial Consultant 10/1995 The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

Candidates must complete an 8-course program focusing on financial planning responsibilities, risk management strategies, income tax strategies, retirement planning, investment strategies, estate and gift-tax planning, personal financial planning strategies, and specialized strategies. 

CASL®, Charted Advisor for Senior Living 11/2017 The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to helping older clients achieve and preserve financial security through management, reservation, and wealth transfer planning. Qualifications including coursework and exam requirements. Continuing education is required every two years. This designation is no longer offered to new students. 

CAP®, Charted Advisor in Philanthropy 4/2018 The American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.

Candidates must complete a 3-course graduate level program focused on charitable giving and fundraising efforts. 

AEP®, Accredited Estate Planner 5/2018 National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, Cleveland, OH.

Candidates must complete a two graduate level specialization courses in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning. Ongoing education requirements are required. 

CKA®, Certified Kingdom Advisor, 11/2018 Kingdom Advisors, Atlanta, GA.

Candidates must sign a "Statement of Faith," obtain a letter of reference from a pastor or member of pastoral staff, a signed statement of personal stewardship and two client references. In addition, prior designations or 10-years of experience are required along with the completion of a training course and exam are required. Continuing Education is performed on an annual basis. 

CDFA®, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst, 5/2021 Institute for Divorce Financial Analyst, Durham, NC.

Candidates must come from a financial planning, accounting or legal background and go through an intensive training program to become skilled in analyzing and providing expertise related to the financial issues of divorce. Designees must be able to become part of a divorce team, providing support to lawyer and clients in strategizing and identifying long-term effects of dividing property, integrating tax issues, analyzing pension plan issues, evaluating insurance needs and assumptions, and creating plans to settle cases. Course training, testing, and continuing education is required.
